LaNorris Sellers leads a late rally and South Carolina beats No. 11 Tennessee 27-24 on a walk-off field goal
LaNorris Sellers scored the tying touchdown with 1:17 left and Malik Orsan hit a 48-yard field goal at the horn as South Carolina upset No. 11 Tennessee.

South Carolina found a way this time. Malik Orsan made a 48-yard field goal as time expired and the Gamecocks beat No. 11 Tennessee 27-24 in Columbia on Saturday night.
LaNorris Sellers led the comeback. The quarterback threw for one touchdown and ran for two more, including the tying score with 1:17 left.
Fans stormed the field at Williams-Brice Stadium after the kick. It was South Carolina's second straight win over a ranked team after it beat then-No. 16 Florida on the road two weeks ago.
The fourth-down stop
Tennessee looked like it had the game in hand. The Vols led 24-17 and went for it on fourth-and-1 at the South Carolina 39 with 3:35 left. Quarterback George MacIntyre was stopped short.
Sellers made Tennessee pay. On third-and-goal he took a hit from two defenders and fought his way to the pylon. The touchdown was upheld on review.
The strip sack
South Carolina's defense then won the game. Dylan Stewart sacked MacIntyre and knocked the ball loose with 33 seconds to play. Defensive tackle Tomiwa Durojaiye recovered it at the Tennessee 34.
The Gamecocks ran the clock down to three seconds before Orsan sent the kick through the uprights.
A different finish at home
South Carolina had lost its last two home games after holding double-digit leads. It nearly happened again when Tennessee came back from a 14-0 hole to take a 24-17 lead.
Sellers finished 18 of 32 for 210 yards and ran for 96 more. Tennessee running back DeSean Bishop ran for 130 yards and a touchdown. South Carolina is now 4-3 and 2-3 in the SEC.
