Tennessee ran over Alabama again.

DeSean Bishop rushed 32 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns as No. 14 Tennessee beat No. 6 Alabama 26-10 on Saturday in Knoxville. A crowd of 101,915 filled Neyland Stadium.

A rare skid for the Tide

Alabama (5-2) has lost two regular-season games in a row for the first time since 2007. The Crimson Tide fell 20-17 to Georgia a week ago.

Tennessee (6-1) has won three straight games. The Vols have won three of the last five meetings with Alabama after losing 15 in a row in the series. All three of those wins came at home.

Defense carried the day

Alabama managed just 201 yards of offense and only 54 on the ground. The Tide turned the ball over four times on two lost fumbles and two interceptions. Jeremiah Telander had two sacks for Tennessee.

Alabama went 0 for 7 on third down in the first half and had only 93 yards at the break. Tennessee kept moving the ball but had to settle for four field goals from Cooper Ranvier and a 12-10 halftime lead.

Bishop finishes it

Bishop scored on a 5-yard run late in the third quarter. He added another 5-yard touchdown run with 3:17 left to seal it.

Quarterback George MacIntyre completed 21 of 31 passes for 197 yards with one interception. Mike Matthews caught seven passes for 85 yards.

Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell threw for 147 yards and scored the Tide's only touchdown on a 19-yard run. Receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams missed the game with several injuries that included a concussion.

What's next

Tennessee visits South Carolina next Saturday. Alabama hosts Texas A&M.
