Selma Blair arraigned on two felony assault counts after JFK arrest
Selma Blair was arraigned Monday on two second-degree assault counts for alleged attacks on a Port Authority officer and a nurse. Bail is $20K cash.

Selma Blair faced a New York criminal court judge Monday after her Sunday arrest at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Court papers charge her with two counts of second-degree assault.
The charges and bail
Prosecutors say one count covers an alleged attack on a Port Authority police officer. The other covers an alleged attack on a nurse. The judge set bail at $20,000 cash, a $60,000 bond or a $60,000 partially secured bond.
It was not clear from the papers whether she entered a plea at the hearing. Her next court date is Jan. 19, 2027.
What police say happened at the airport
According to the filings, officers were holding Blair on a stretcher at JFK when she freed a leg and kicked an officer in the face, neck and chest. The officer reported swelling in her jaw and substantial pain in her face, neck and chest.
The hospital allegation
Case papers add that a nurse at Jamaica Hospital early Monday said Blair struck her in the chest during a transfer for extra care.
Blair has not been convicted of any charge stemming from the episode. The FBI is separately looking into what happened on the flight.
