Baltimore loses backup Tyler Huntley for the year as its quarterback room runs thin
Ravens backup Tyler Huntley needs surgery on a turf toe injury and will miss the rest of the season. Rookie Joe Fagnano starts Thursday at Jacksonville.

The Baltimore Ravens just lost another quarterback.
Backup Tyler "Snoop" Huntley is out for the rest of the season with a turf toe injury on his right foot. Tests showed he needs surgery.
Huntley got hurt in the second quarter of Sunday's 36-10 loss at Buffalo. Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver twisted him to the ground just after he got rid of the ball.
Two quarterbacks down
Starter Lamar Jackson is already out indefinitely. He hurt his right thumb on his very first snap Sunday.
Coach Jesse Minter said Jackson's injury is "potentially" season-ending.
That leaves undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano as the starter. He makes his first career start Thursday night at the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fagnano wore a brace on his right ankle at Tuesday's practice. He was still a full participant and is set to play.
Very little experience
The Ravens' top three quarterbacks are now Fagnano, Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis.
Together they have thrown 23 passes in the NFL. They have played 44 total snaps and have zero touchdown passes.
Reed joined Baltimore's practice squad Monday. Slovis was signed off the Green Bay Packers' practice squad Tuesday.
A steady fill-in
Huntley, 28, started three games this season while Jackson was hurt. He led Baltimore to an overtime comeback win in Atlanta on Oct. 11.
He went undrafted out of Utah. In seven NFL seasons he is 8-11 as a starter with 17 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions.
