Katie Zacharia skips the Election Day chaos for a quiet beauty run in Thousand Oaks
Former White House press secretary Katie Zacharia was seen shopping at a Sephora in Thousand Oaks on Election Day, weeks after Trump fired her.

While the rest of the country waited on midterm results Katie Zacharia was busy picking out beauty products.
The former White House press secretary was spotted Tuesday at a Sephora in Thousand Oaks, a community in the Los Angeles area.
No podium and no briefing room questions this time. Just a bit of retail therapy on a big day in politics.
Her Election Day look
Katie wore a black dress paired with white shoes that showed off her toes. She appeared to be deep in conversation on her phone during the outing.
She did not leave empty-handed either. She walked out of the store carrying a small black and white shopping bag.
A short stay in the West Wing
Her time as press secretary lasted only five days. President Donald Trump let her go in the middle of a newspaper interview.
Since then she has pointed the finger at the media and Washington politics for her firing. She also said she was confused by the "hostility" Sean Hannity showed her when she went on his show.
Katie spent years on TV falsely claiming to be a lawyer, yet she has largely blamed other people for her fall.
Keeping a low profile
She has popped up around LA a few times since losing the job. In one sighting she went for a walk in a patriotic workout outfit.
She has also been seen looking relaxed in Calabasas, the area the Kardashians call home.
