Joe Manganiello did not tip off Sofía Vergara before his memoir dropped
Sources say Joe Manganiello never warned Sofía Vergara or shared an advance copy of his memoir Bloodlines before publishing details about their marriage.

Joe Manganiello did not send Sofía Vergara a courtesy note before his memoir "Bloodlines" hit shelves. People familiar with the situation say he felt no need to warn her about what he planned to write.
No advance copy
Those sources say Manganiello never handed Sofía an early draft and never laid out which stories from their years together would appear. They add that he never told her he was writing a book at all because the two no longer speak.
From his perspective the story was his to share. He figured she could already guess which parts of their marriage might end up on the page.
Responding to her comments
Sources also say Sofía's earlier public remarks about the relationship caught him off guard. Publishing the memoir, they say, was his way of answering those comments and clearing his name — something they argue should not have shocked her.
In "Bloodlines" he has claimed Sofía mocked him while he battled a serious autoimmune condition. After the book landed, Sofía's son Manolo posted about narcissistic men and Sofía shared the post. Manganiello later sidestepped those allegations in a CBS interview.
How the marriage ended
They spent seven years married and split in July 2023. He filed the divorce paperwork and the case closed roughly half a year afterward.
