Sofía Vergara may have a new man in her life. The "Modern Family" star and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds spent a weekend night out in Los Angeles that looked a lot like a date.

Dinner at Cipriani

Photos show the two holding hands for much of a late meal at Cipriani in Beverly Hills. They were not alone at the table. A couple of friends joined them, among them beauty mogul Anastasia Soare.

At some point the pair reportedly slipped out through the restaurant's back door at about 12:30 AM.

On to Doja Cat's birthday

The evening did not end there. Sources say Vergara and Reynolds turned up at Doja Cat's 31st birthday celebration in Los Angeles, which ran from late Friday into early Saturday.

Guests reportedly spotted them huddled in a corner chatting up close. Vergara wore a lingerie-style top for the party. People there say the two seemed so at ease with each other that they came across as a couple.

Staying quiet

On Monday Vergara was out in Beverly Hills when someone asked about her rumored new flame. A question about whether she likes the group's music drew no answer. She only paused to smooth her hair.

Both stars are coming off breakups. Vergara's ex-husband Joe Manganiello has made headlines with his memoir "Bloodlines," which claims she mocked him over a serious autoimmune illness. She later appeared to hint that he is a narcissist in a cryptic post. Sources say she never got an early copy of the book.

Reynolds recently parted ways with actress Minka Kelly in a far calmer split. Neither Vergara nor Reynolds has commented on the outings.
