Christian Pulisic and Milan slip in Europa League peril after a 2-0 home loss
Christian Pulisic came off the bench as AC Milan fell 2-0 at home to Ferencvaros Thursday leaving Milan with three points from four Europa League games.

AC Milan's Europa League path got steeper in a hurry.
The Rossoneri fell 2-0 at home to Hungarian side Ferencvaros on Thursday. United States star Christian Pulisic started on the bench and entered at halftime.
Lenny Joseph scored twice in the second half as Ferencvaros kept a perfect league-phase start. Milan sat on just three points from four games after the loss.
Amorim's blunt review
Coach Ruben Amorim had hoped to build on a Serie A win over Inter. Instead he questioned the team's mentality.
"When you play for Milan you have a responsibility," Amorim said. "You can't go out there like this. We're not ready to compete on both fronts in Serie A and Europe."
"Tonight we have no excuses," he added.
How it slipped
Stand-in goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani was beaten after a charged-down clearance in the 52nd minute. Joseph finished the rebound. A counterattack square from Kristoffer Zachariassen set up Joseph's second in the 66th.
Pulisic had scored in the Inter win but could not spark a comeback after replacing Alphadjo Cisse. Ferencvaros finished with 10 men after a late red card yet held on at San Siro.
