Tyler Adams keeps finding ways to push Bournemouth forward.
The U.S. captain scored in the 57th minute as Bournemouth beat Sparta Prague 3-1 in the Europa League on Thursday for a seventh straight win in all competitions.
Adams leveled after Sparta had taken the lead. Evanilson and Rayan later sealed the points in the Czech capital.
A page turned
"We can't get too comfortable," Adams said. "You have to be able to hold that winning standard. That winning mentality becomes contagious especially when you are playing every three days."
He pointed back to a 5-1 loss to Chelsea that still stings. "I think we turned a page and we have been a more mature team ever since," he said.
How the match swung
Bournemouth wasted a first-half penalty when Lewis Cook hit the post. Sparta went ahead through Ebrima Singhateh before Tobias Guddal picked up a second yellow within two minutes of the lead.
Adams rifled in the equalizer after a blocked chance for Alvaro Rodriguez. Adrien Truffert and Ryan Christie then set up Evanilson for the winner in the 81st minute. Rayan added a late third from range.
Bournemouth is perfect in the Europa League at 4-0 and well placed to reach the last 16 directly.
