Bryon Noem agrees the marriage is over but says any support should go to him
Bryon Noem's reply to Kristi Noem's divorce petition agrees the marriage is over but says he should be the one who could collect monthly payments.

Bryon Noem is on board with ending his marriage to Kristi Noem. Where he parts ways with her is over who might end up paying whom.
What the filings say
Court documents show Bryon accepts that the marriage broke down over irreconcilable differences. Their disagreement is all about money.
Kristi filed her petition on September 28. In it she asked to keep open her option of seeking spousal support later on.
Bryon's newly filed response flips that around. He says he is the spouse who should be in line for possible monthly payments.
The couple share three children. All of them are grown, so child support is not part of the fight.
How the split began
The breakup followed a Daily Mail report alleging Bryon liked to wear fake breasts while trading messages with people online. A representative for Kristi said she was "devastated" by the claims and had been caught completely off guard.
After Kristi filed, Bryon's attorney Tim Bottum said his client was saddened to see the marriage end. He added that Bryon hopes the matter can be settled privately on friendly terms.
For now the two sides look headed for a tug-of-war over their finances.
