Oval star Travis Cure fights ex's lawsuit claiming he gave her herpes
Travis Cure says he disclosed his genital herpes and always used a condom while his former partner alleges he kept it secret and infected her.

Actor Travis Cure is pushing back against a lawsuit from a woman who says he gave her genital herpes.
What she alleges
Court papers say the pair began dating in August 2024. She claims she had no other sexual partners from then until she filed and that Cure knew he had genital herpes yet did not tell her before sex. Her claims include negligence and battery.
What he says
Cure acknowledges dating her and says the relationship was not exclusive on either side. He says he wore a condom and that she lives in Chicago and was seeing other men in the same period.
He says both of them knew about his herpes and that she only complained after he ended things and started seeing someone new. He argues she cannot prove he infected her given what he calls her other sexual contacts.
The case is still open. Nobody has been charged with a crime.
