Sophia Bush is trending after details from her new memoir And I Will Tell You Mine revealed how she now sees her brief marriage to One Tree Hill co-star Chad Michael Murray.

Bush, 44, met Murray, 45, on the North Carolina set of the WB drama in 2003. He proposed during a trip to Australia in May 2004 and the couple married in Santa Monica in 2005, when Bush was 21 and Murray was 23.

They separated five months later, in September 2005. Bush filed for an annulment in February 2006 that was denied and the two were granted a divorce that December. They kept working together until One Tree Hill wrapped in 2009.

Red flags in hindsight

In the book, Bush says co-star Hilarie Burton warned her not to date Murray and she writes about what she calls insecurity, possessiveness and controlling demands that led to more frequent arguments. She also describes the day one of Murray's close friends told her about other women. Murray denied cheating rumors at the time.

"Looking back now, I see the heat map of red flags. I didn't then," Bush writes, according to InStyle.

A rare look back

Bush has seldom talked publicly about the marriage, calling it in the memoir the thing she never wants to speak about. The book was released on Oct. 27.
