Six Flags Georgia drops "Dead Man" from its Halloween show title after coaster death
Six Flags Over Georgia renamed Dr. Fright's Dead Man's Party to Dr. Fright's Party days after a rider died on the Goliath coaster.

Six Flags Over Georgia is scrubbing the word "dead" from a seasonal stage show name after last week's fatal fall off one of its rides.
A quieter title
USA Today reports the park shortened "Dr. Fright's Dead Man's Party" to "Dr. Fright's Party" for Fright Fest. The New Jersey Great Adventure calendar received the same edit.
The Georgia gate opens again Friday after several dark days tied to the Goliath tragedy. Victim Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem was 42 and taught in Atlanta when the ride ejected him.
Final Destination still on the books
Park leaders are keeping the maze tied to the Final Destination movies. One entry in that franchise opens with a roller coaster disaster. Officials have said the walk-through does not recreate any theme-park scene.
Goliath stays closed
Goliath remains offline while investigators reconstruct how Kariem left his seat. On the way down he hit riders and steel before coming to rest under the structure. Four children were also hurt and taken to a hospital.
The park is still selling Halloween thrills. It is being more careful about how it names them.
