Six Flags Over Georgia plans to reopen Friday after fatal Goliath fall
The Atlanta-area park says guests can return Friday after a rider died falling from Goliath. Whether that coaster stays shuttered remains unclear.

Six Flags Over Georgia intends to welcome guests again on Friday only days after a man died when he came off the park's Goliath coaster.
What is known about the reopening
Atlanta's WSB-TV says the gates will open Friday. Park officials have not said whether Goliath will resume running. The attraction that threw the rider seems likely to stay offline while the probe continues.
The death on Goliath
Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem died after falling from Goliath. Coverage notes he belonged to a roller coaster enthusiasts' club. Investigators say he hit other passengers on the way down before striking the ground.
Six Flags temporarily shut nine similar coasters across the United States after the death. Bolliger & Mabillard, which built Goliath and other coasters, is reviewing the incident.
Clips that appear to capture the fall have spread online. Relatives have asked people to stop sharing them.
