Sahara Ray's autopsy is done but her cause of death is still on hold
The coroner has finished Sahara Ray's autopsy and released her body to her family. Her cause of death is deferred until toxicology results come back.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has completed its autopsy on Sahara Ray. Officials still have not said how the 34-year-old model died.
Waiting on toxicology
County records show her cause of death has been listed as deferred. That means investigators are waiting on toxicology results before they make a ruling.
Those tests can take weeks or even months to come back.
Back with her family
After the exam wrapped up the coroner's office cleared her body for release. It has now been handed over to her family, a little more than a week after she died.
Ray died on October 18. Her family said she passed away in a hospital with loved ones around her.
A past dispute set aside
In 2024 her former roommate Chloe Spence asked a court for a restraining order against her. The filing claimed Ray had been in an "intoxicated delusional state" more than once and accused her of grabbing Spence's face during an argument.
People close to the two women say they later made peace. Spence was with Ray's family at the hospital when she died. Nothing ties those old claims to her death.
Remembered as magic
Ray's former boyfriend Mod Sun paid tribute to her on social media after her death. He called her "pure magic."
Ray was an Australian model and swimwear designer who welcomed a daughter named Snow in January.
