Prince Harry says he slipped into depression after he, Meghan and Archie moved to Canada
In a MasterClass on grief, Harry described an adrenaline crash once the stress of royal life eased.

Prince Harry says the move to Canada with Meghan Markle and their son Archie left him depressed for about two weeks.
Speaking in a MasterClass on grief, he described an adrenaline crash after leaving a high-stress environment. Once the pressure was gone, he said, his brain struggled without it.
"I became useless around the house," he said. "I actually slipped into depression for about two weeks and I felt like I couldn't function without adrenaline."
Why they left
Harry said the late-2019 stay in Canada was meant to give the couple space to think. Early in 2020 they stepped back from royal duties.
Where they are now
The couple has since returned to England with their two children. Safety worries have already led them to withdraw the children from school there.
