Newly released body cam captures Perez Hilton home after August crisis
Newly released body cam video shows first responders at Perez Hilton's home after an alarming August livestream with portions redacted.

Body camera video from the night first responders reached Perez Hilton has been released showing the aftermath inside his home after an alarming livestream.
Large parts of the footage are redacted. Perez is blurred as crews move him onto a stretcher toward an ambulance while blood is visible on walls of the residence.
Officers arrived in August after alerts tied to that stream. Hospital staff treated fractures plus an overdose then kept him under a psychiatric hold. His kids had left the house only minutes before the broadcast started according to reports.
Sister Barbara Lavandeira said she discovered him bloodied and almost did not know who she was looking at. Case papers state he voiced a desire to die during a confrontation with police that night.
Mother Teresita Lavandeira has been watching the children while Perez has been allowed supervised visits. A friend opened a GoFundMe to help with family costs.
