Joe Manganiello writes that he wore an ostomy bag to his Deathstroke suit fitting
In a memoir excerpt, the actor recalls fasting before the fitting for Ben Affleck's shelved Batman film and panicking over a body scan.

When Joe Manganiello was measured for his Deathstroke suit, he was hiding something: the ostomy bag he wore after nearly dying from a medical crisis.
In an excerpt from his new memoir "Bloodlines," he recalls the costume session for Ben Affleck's Batman film, a project that never got made.
Planning around the bag
He writes that he stopped eating the afternoon before so the bag would stay empty under the tight compression suit. He says he pretended to be modest so the crew would step out while he changed, keeping the bag and his scars out of sight.
The fitting went smoothly, he writes, until the team asked for a 3D body scan. They wanted him to swap his black underwear for tiny blue briefs. He says he panicked because there was no way they would hide the bag.
Deathstroke's run
He eventually played the villain only briefly, in a scene after the credits of Zack Snyder's "Justice League." He has not returned to the role since.
