Melissa Rycroft calls her latest arrest a breaking point as she commits to getting professional care
Former Bachelor star Melissa Rycroft says she feels ashamed after her Texas DWI arrest. She opened up about her mental health and plans to get help.

Melissa Rycroft is speaking out for the first time since her latest DWI arrest. She says this moment is her rock bottom.
The former "Bachelor" contestant posted a message on Instagram Tuesday. She admitted she feels "deeply ashamed and embarrassed" about what happened.
Melissa shared that she has been dealing with mental health struggles. She also said she plans to get professional help.
Done fighting alone
"I've fought this for a long time on my own," she wrote. She went on to say that "it's time to admit that I can't do it anymore."
She added, "This is so hard to say and the shame is still very much there, but I'm ready to feel like myself again, for me and my family."
Melissa said her loved ones deserve the best version of her. She is putting in the work to get there.
She closed her note with a request for fans to "have some grace." She also asked that people give her family privacy while she focuses on recovery.
The Texas arrest
Police say the reality star struck an ambulance in Texas over the weekend and then left the scene. She was taken into custody soon after.
She now faces a DWI charge. She was also charged with driving on an invalid license with a prior conviction or suspension and no proof of financial responsibility.
A third count accuses her of a collision that caused less than $200 in damage to another vehicle.
Not her first case
The new arrest comes only months after she was sentenced in a separate DWI case from last year.
