Melissa Rycroft is in trouble with the law again over drunk driving just a few months after a judge handed down her punishment for the first case.

Southlake police in Texas say the former "Bachelor" star rear-ended an ambulance that had stopped at an intersection Saturday night. They say she then left the scene.

Officers tracked her down a short time later. After an investigation she was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated as a second offense.

The charges

Rycroft was also hit with charges tied to the property damage from the collision plus driving while her license was invalid. Jail records in Tarrant County show she was booked on Sunday.

Rycroft, who once cheered for the Dallas Cowboys, went through booking at a jail in nearby Keller. Bond totaled $9,000. That covers $7,500 for the DWI plus $1,000 for the damage plus $500 for the license.

Already on probation

In August she was sentenced in her 2025 DWI case. She got 20 months of probation along with about $2,000 in fines plus court costs.

The judge also ordered her to do 36 hours of community service. She had to complete a DWI education class plus a substance abuse evaluation. Her plea agreement barred her from drinking or using drugs while on probation.
