Nevada booking photo shows Keffe D with eyes shut after Tupac murder sentence
A Nevada Department of Corrections booking photo of Duane Keffe D Davis shows him with eyes closed holding a card that lists a June 2026 parole date.

A never-before-seen Nevada booking photo of Duane "Keffe D" Davis shows the man just sentenced in Tupac Shakur's murder with his eyes closed.
What the photo shows
The Nevada Department of Corrections image captures Davis holding a slip with his name, offender ID and a parole date listed as June 10, 2026. His eyes are shut.
Department records say the mug was taken while he was already locked up on a separate battery-by-a-prisoner case that carried 16 to 40 months. Police first arrested him in September 2023 for the Tupac case and he has been held since.
The sentence
A Las Vegas jury convicted him of first-degree murder after a two-week trial. On Tuesday a judge sent him away for 40 years. Prosecutors said he directed the drive-by as payback after Tupac, Suge Knight and others beat Davis's nephew earlier that night.
Davis looked unhappy in the mug, matching his reaction in court when the decades-long term was handed down.
