Justin Jefferson says the Vikings must fix the offense fast and still backs Kyler Murray
Justin Jefferson said Thursday the Vikings must fix a sputtering offense fast while backing Kyler Murray as Carson Wentz starts Monday against Buffalo.

Justin Jefferson does not want a 6-1 start to go to waste.
Speaking Thursday for the first time since his frustration boiled over in Sunday's loss at Detroit the Vikings star said Minnesota's offense has to find answers quickly.
"We've got to figure out that answer and figure it out fast," Jefferson said.
Rankings that sting
Entering Week 9 the Vikings ranked 27th in expected points added, 27th in points per game and 29th in yards per game. Jefferson has 28 catches for 335 yards.
"I feel like the potential and the guys that we have in that room is something very, very special," he said. "I feel like we're wasting that if not going out there executing the plays that we have called."
Still riding with Murray
Kyler Murray is out Monday night against Buffalo with a hamstring strain. Carson Wentz will start. Jefferson still voiced strong support for Murray's return.
"We definitely have faith in him. We have confidence in him to go out there and be that guy that we need him and want him to be," Jefferson said. "We're behind him. We're confident in him so we just going to keep riding with him."
He warned against looking back later with regrets. "Try to figure it out fast before it gets too late and it gets to the postseason and we're looking back on ifs and what-ifs and should haves."
