Vikings stay unbeaten at 5-0 with a 23-13 win over the Saints
Kyler Murray threw for 229 yards and Aaron Jones scored the clinching touchdown as Minnesota held New Orleans to 142 yards and improved to 5-0.
The Minnesota Vikings are still perfect. They beat the New Orleans Saints 23-13 on Sunday to move to 5-0.
Murray and Jefferson click
Kyler Murray completed 24 of 30 passes for 229 yards. Justin Jefferson caught passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.
Minnesota did leave points on the field. The Vikings fumbled twice in the red zone, which kept the game closer than it might have been. Aaron Jones finally put it away with a fourth-quarter touchdown run.
A dominant defense
The Vikings defense held New Orleans to just 142 total yards and intercepted Saints quarterback Tyler Shough twice.
The Saints have struggled in the early going and this loss did nothing to slow that slide.
