Joe Manganiello sidesteps Manolo's narcissist jab about his memoir
On CBS Mornings Joe Manganiello declined to debate Sofía Vergara's son's Instagram jab calling him a narcissist. He pointed readers to his memoir Bloodlines.

Joe Manganiello is not taking the bait on the narcissist talk. During a "CBS Mornings" sit-down with Gayle King he steered the conversation back to his memoir instead of social media speculation.
The question he would not chase
King put it to him directly: Manolo, Sofía Vergara's son, had posted on Instagram in a way that painted Manganiello as a narcissist. Manganiello did not deny the label. He answered that the memoir is not about that label.
What "Bloodlines" covers
According to Manganiello the new memoir focuses on the suffering he went through during a mysterious and near-fatal health fight. He said he tried to write about everyone with an amount of grace even though the book includes harsh claims about how his ex-wife treated him while he was sick.
He called the whole discussion nuanced and said he does not want to air it out on social media. That line read as a quiet pushback at Sofía and Manolo.
Out tomorrow
"Bloodlines" arrives tomorrow and Manganiello is making the rounds to build interest. He wants readers to judge the book itself rather than the online noise around it.
