Erin Foster says she does not share Adam Brody's views on Palestine
Nobody Wants This creator Erin Foster says she parts ways with star Adam Brody on the Middle East war but calls the show a love letter to Judaism.

The woman behind "Nobody Wants This" is making it clear her views on the Middle East war differ from those of her leading man.
A split on set
Erin Foster, who created, writes and produces the hit series, opened up about Adam Brody's pro-Palestine views during a recent podcast chat with Amanda Hirsch.
She said she does not agree with him. She also said that is perfectly okay.
According to Foster, the people who make the show are working through a "complicated" moment. She compared their talks to a family hashing out hard topics around the dinner table.
Why she made the show
Foster described the series as her tribute to the Jewish faith. She wants Jewish viewers to know she sees them and understands how they feel right now.
"That is why I made this show," she said, describing what a beautiful experience it has been to become Jewish. She added that at a time with "almost zero positive representation of Jewish people," she thinks the show matters a great deal.
Brody's stance
Brody recently shared his own views in an interview. He described the conflict as a "genocide" and voiced support for a free Palestine.
The full podcast episode with Foster is set to be released on Tuesday.
