Gold seller tied to Erik von Detten lawsuit reveals it is $63.7 million in the hole
Rosland Capital, the precious metals firm where former Disney star Erik von Detten worked, told the bankruptcy court it owes creditors more than $63.6 million.

The precious metals company at the center of the elder abuse case involving former Disney star Erik von Detten is buried in debt.
Rosland Capital put a number on what it owes as part of its bankruptcy case. Court papers list total debts of $63,695,061.
Erik spent years working at the company, which sold gold and other precious metals to everyday buyers.
How the case began
Rosland went into bankruptcy a few months after Sheila and Norman Greenberg sued both the company and Erik for elder abuse. The couple says Erik was the one who sold them the gold.
According to their lawsuit, the Greenbergs paid more than $2 million for the metal. They say they later found out it was worth only about $1.3 million. They claim Erik took advantage of them because of their age.
Erik never filed a response to the lawsuit before Rosland sought bankruptcy protection.
Creditors want answers
Creditors in the bankruptcy have accused Erik of acting as a "roadblock" as they try to get information about how Rosland operated.
The case remains open.
