Trump donor Eric Deters calls Kimberly Guilfoyle a "grifter" over an alleged $100,000 request
The former Kentucky congressional candidate says Guilfoyle asked him to pay down her credit card bill before her ambassador confirmation hearing.

Eric Deters is not holding back about Kimberly Guilfoyle.
The Trump donor and former Kentucky congressional candidate went on camera Thursday to stand by a report from earlier this week. He says Guilfoyle asked him to wire $100,000 toward her American Express balance in 2025, shortly before her confirmation hearing to become U.S. ambassador to Greece.
Why he was spending
Deters says he poured money into Trump circles because Guilfoyle promised to help him lobby administration officials. His goal was the extradition of an Ohio spine surgeon who fled to Pakistan after being charged with defrauding insurers over hundreds of allegedly unnecessary operations.
He says he also handed Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump appearance fees in the six figures. He also says a large donation to a Trump political action committee bought him a seat at a dinner with the president, Sen. Ted Cruz and a table of billionaires.
Promises that never came through
According to Deters, Guilfoyle talked about getting him onto Tucker Carlson's show and getting Kid Rock to produce a song for him. None of it happened. His appeals to the administration about the surgeon went nowhere.
He says turning down her request was easy. He did not have the cash and she was not producing results, so he told her his wife would leave him if he paid it.
Deters calls her a grifter who never delivered. He claims she pledged to be his "Trump ride or die" and that she wanted to avoid any paper trail. He compares the episode to Watergate.
The bigger picture
The claims describe conduct that may be unethical but not necessarily criminal. Guilfoyle has not been charged with anything and has not publicly responded to his latest comments.
