Dolly Parton's niece Rebecca Seaver loses her museum job as estate turmoil deepens
Rebecca Seaver and her whole staff were let go from Dolly Parton's archive and museum just weeks after the Life of Many Colors Museum opened in Nashville.

Another member of Dolly Parton's family is out of a job. The people running the late singer's estate let go of her niece Rebecca Seaver on Thursday according to reports.
Rebecca ran the operation that looks after Dolly's archive and her museum. She is the sister of Bryan Seaver, who was pushed out of his own role earlier this fall.
A clean sweep
Rebecca was not the only person shown the door. Her entire team was cut loose as well, though it is not clear how many workers lost their jobs.
The timing stands out. The Life of Many Colors Museum welcomed its first visitors at the end of September at Dolly's SongTeller Hotel in the heart of Nashville. Rebecca was the museum's executive director and worked with Dolly's sister Rachel Parton George to get it built.
The brother's exit
Bryan spent more than 20 years as the head of Dolly's security before her manager Danny Nozell fired him in September. Bryan and his security firms were then told to clear out of her properties, including the Nashville house, the museum and a warehouse.
Things got nasty from there. Nozell took Bryan to court with claims that he made threats and tried to squeeze the estate for money. Bryan has said he never threatened anyone and that his words were pulled out of context.
What she left behind
Dolly kept a huge trove of costumes, jewelry and keepsakes over her long career. People close to her have said she held on to enough pieces to "fill a Nordstrom." Much of that collection is what the museum was built to show.
Dolly died on Aug. 25 at 80.
