The Los Angeles Chargers are still looking for their first win.

Sunday's 22-6 loss at Kansas City dropped them to 0-6 for the first time since 2000. That team went 1-15 and Jim Harbaugh was its quarterback in his final season as a player. The franchise has started 0-6 only one other time, in 1975.

Now Harbaugh is the coach and he says nothing is off the table.

Asked whether offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel will keep calling plays, Harbaugh said, "We're going to look at everything."

McDaniel under fire

This is McDaniel's first season running the Chargers' offense. Harbaugh hired him after Greg Roman was fired in January following a playoff loss to New England in which the Chargers scored three points.

The results have not come. Los Angeles scored a season-low six points on Sunday with just 259 total yards. The Chargers are averaging 15 points a game, 30th in the league.

"The job I'm doing, it starts with me," Harbaugh said. "We'll watch this and get with our offensive coaches."

After a Week 4 loss to Seattle, Harbaugh said McDaniel's job was not in jeopardy. On Thursday McDaniel said it is part of his role to always feel like he is coaching for his job.

"But talk is cheap. We got to do," McDaniel said.

Herbert searching for answers

Justin Herbert threw his league-high eighth interception on Sunday. He has thrown at least one in every game this season.

"I don't know," Herbert said when asked what has not clicked. "If I had the answers, then we'd definitely be having a different conversation."

Injuries have piled up. The Chargers have started eight different offensive line combinations and had four rookies start up front for the second week in a row. Wide receiver Ladd McConkey returned from a foot injury on Sunday but left in the second quarter with a concussion.

Harbaugh did not lean on any of that.

"There's no justification. Anything I would say would sound like an excuse," he said.

The Chiefs improved to 5-0 with the win.
