Federal prison officials deny Diddy fought Christopher Coke but say nothing about his reported injury
The Bureau of Prisons says a reported fight between Sean Combs and inmate Christopher Coke never happened but will not say whether Combs was hurt.

Federal prison officials insist Sean "Diddy" Combs was not in a brawl that sent him out for emergency care with a head wound last weekend. Officials will not say how he was hurt or whether he was hurt at all.
The denial
A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson called the report false and said the fight did not happen. Asked how Combs was injured, the agency said it had nothing more to share.
The original report
Sources inside FCI Fort Dix had said Combs was taken from the prison by ambulance early Saturday morning for emergency treatment of a head injury. They pointed to a scuffle with another inmate, Christopher "Dudus" Coke, as the cause.
The sources stand by their account of the injury and the early morning trip. Combs was reportedly back at the prison before sunrise, which suggests his injury was not life threatening.
A prison under scrutiny
The agency also declined to comment in July when Combs reportedly fought with another inmate. Fort Dix has drawn attention since an NBC News report claimed Combs was enjoying luxuries behind bars. Prison officials have reportedly carried out several raids since then to seize contraband from inmates across the facility.
