Alejandra and Slobo did not write a beekeeping plan. A swarm showed up at the house and they kept it.

Slobo had old gear from his father. They built what they could and started with a few backyard hives. Alejandra posted the work and they sold honey from an honor stand out front.

The stand got busy enough that both quit their jobs in 2024 and opened a shop. The first landlord nearly tripled the rent. They moved, found another spot and kept selling through neighbors and social posts.
