Bryant Moreland known as EDP445 was arrested in Las Vegas on sex crime charges after he admitted on camera that he tried to meet a 13-year-old girl.

Bryant Moreland the YouTuber known as EDP445 is facing sex crime charges after he admitted on camera that he tried to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex.
Las Vegas police took him into custody Wednesday. Prosecutors in Kern County California say they will seek to bring him back to that county according to reports.
Filings accuse him of trying to commit a lewd act with a child younger than 14, arranging to meet a minor for that purpose, reaching out to a minor to set up a sex crime and sending material meant to lure a minor.
How the case reopened
A documentary titled "The Sick Mind of EDP445" walks through a sting in which Moreland thought he was meeting a 13-year-old girl. An adult YouTuber was waiting instead.
Chris Hansen who interviewed Moreland for his "Have a Seat" podcast and whose chat appears in the film said the on-camera admission gave Kern County enough to seek a warrant.
In that sit-down Moreland said "I showed up to that location that day trying to obviously meet up with an underage girl. You know what I mean? And I guess you can say .... I don't know ... trying to have sex."
Prosecutors said those remarks led them to reopen the probe with the sheriff's office. After reviewing the new evidence they decided the bar for charges had been met.
JiDion one of the YouTubers tied to the sting posted video of the arrest outside a dialysis clinic with several officers on scene.
