Pioneer Woman star's foster son walks free with probation in Alabama case
Jamar Goff, the foster son of Ree Drummond, got suspended sentences and probation in his Alabama drug and assault case instead of more time behind bars.

The foster son of "Pioneer Woman" star Ree Drummond will not be heading back to jail.
Jamar Goff was sentenced Wednesday in Alabama in his drug and assault case. The judge handed down four years on a second-degree assault count plus two years on a count of illegal drug possession. Both terms were suspended according to reports.
The 23-year-old will instead serve 12 months of supervised probation.
Conditions of his release
Jamar has to get a substance abuse evaluation and take random drug tests. He was released from custody. He is also barred from setting foot on the UAB campus in Birmingham.
The September arrest
Police picked Jamar up in September on that same campus. Officers said they found him with no shirt on, seemingly asleep near a fountain.
Cops claim he told them he was waiting to buy "ice," which is a street name for meth.
When officers tried to take him in on an outstanding warrant he allegedly ran. Authorities say he later hit a female officer. Police also reported finding a glass pipe along with roughly 1.8 grams of meth.
Earlier trouble
This was not his first brush with the law. Jamar was previously accused of assault and domestic violence in a 2025 case. Those claims led prosecutors to try to have his bond revoked.
Earlier this year he also checked himself into rehab to deal with drinking. That was months before the arrest on campus.
Ree and Ladd Drummond brought Jamar into their home as a teen back in 2018. Court papers now list him as homeless.
