A judge signs off as Vivienne Jolie legally cuts Pitt from her name
A Los Angeles judge approved 18-year-old Vivienne's petition to change her legal name to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie. She is the fourth sibling to drop Pitt.

Vivienne Jolie is now officially done with the Pitt name. A judge has approved her request to remove her dad Brad Pitt's surname for good.
The ruling came down Monday in Los Angeles. The 18-year-old's legal name is now Vivienne Marcheline Jolie instead of Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt.
Nobody objected to the petition, so the judge granted it.
Months in the making
Vivienne filed the request back in July, soon after her 18th birthday. She listed "personal" reasons for the change.
She had already been going by her mother Angelina Jolie's last name in her work. The Playbill for the Broadway run of "The Outsiders" listed her as "Vivienne Jolie." She worked on that show alongside Angelina.
Fourth to make the switch
Vivienne becomes the fourth of the six children Brad and Angelina share to legally drop their father's last name.
