Angelina Jolie's real estate agent says Madonna did not buy her Los Angeles estate
The agent who co-listed the former Cecil B. DeMille mansion says reports naming Madonna as the buyer are wrong.

Madonna is not the new owner of Angelina Jolie's historic Los Angeles home, according to one of the agents who handled the sale.
Setting the record straight
Ernie Carswell, who co-listed the property, said on a recent episode of the podcast "Real Talk" that the singer did not buy the $24.75 million estate. He declined to say who did.
The home changed hands on September 24 after hitting the market at close to $30 million. Several outlets later named Madonna as the buyer, with The Real Deal pointing to a report in Robb Report.
Why Madonna's name came up
Madonna had been tied to the house before the deal closed. In August the New York Post reported that her team set up a private virtual walkthrough after she showed interest.
The estate
The roughly 11,000-square-foot residence once belonged to the famed director Cecil B. DeMille. It has six bedrooms plus 10 bathrooms. The grounds include a guesthouse, a pool house, a gym and a tea house with wide views of the Hollywood Hills.
Jolie bought the 2.1-acre property in 2017 for $24.5 million. The sale price left her only slightly ahead of what she paid.
