Steph Curry is expected to play in the Warriors' opener against the Lakers after tweaking his ankle
Curry rolled his right ankle in Sunday's open scrimmage but was a full participant in practice Monday. Golden State opens Wednesday night against the Lakers.

The Golden State Warriors can breathe a little easier.
Stephen Curry is expected to play in Wednesday night's season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers despite tweaking his right ankle in an open scrimmage Sunday afternoon.
Curry was a full participant in practice Monday morning. Coach Steve Kerr said Curry told him he was "fine" soon after he left the floor in clear discomfort.
A scary moment
Curry rolled the ankle on a dribble move from the right wing midway through the scrimmage. He stopped play, slammed the ball on the floor and limped to the locker room as teammates and fans watched with concern. He did not return.
The ankle responded well overnight. The medical staff cleared him to keep ramping up for the regular season. He is expected to play against the Lakers after one more practice Tuesday.
Managing the workload
Curry turns 39 in March. He spent the summer reworking his routine to better handle a nagging right knee problem that cost him 27 games last season.
The Warriors kept his preseason minutes low. Kerr said the team will also have him practice less to ease the load.
Injuries pile up
Golden State is already without starting wings Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler III. Both are rehabbing serious knee injuries and are expected back around midseason.
Starting center Kristaps Porzingis remains out indefinitely with a private health issue and will not travel to Los Angeles. Starting guard Brandin Podziemski missed Monday's practice with lower back tightness and is questionable for the opener.
