Days before the Goliath fall Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem posted about making drink coasters
Two days before his fatal fall from Goliath, Atlanta teacher Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem shared a Facebook photo of a homemade drink coaster.

Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem left a Facebook update about coasters that now reads like a cruel coincidence after his death on Goliath.
The Saturday post
That Saturday Kariem posted a picture of a craft project he had just finished. He joked that producing more of them would take real effort.
The craft had nothing to do with theme-park rides. The square piece carried Atlanta street-name artwork with "SOUTHSIDE" printed along its lower edge.
Two days later
Two days later he was thrown from Goliath at the Georgia Six Flags park. Relatives later confirmed he was the rider who did not survive.
Accounts say his son sat next to him on the train. People at the park say his body hit the rails several times before coming to rest on a haunted-house roof nearby.
Still under review
Authorities continue to investigate. Six Flags has taken similar coasters offline at other parks while the review goes on.
