Selma Blair says sorry in her own words weeks after her Delta flight arrest
In a tearful Instagram clip, Selma Blair told fans harm was never her goal. It came almost three weeks after her arrest on a Delta plane.

Selma Blair is finally speaking for herself. Nearly three weeks after she was arrested on a flight, the actress shared an emotional video on Instagram Friday afternoon.
"I am so sorry"
In the clip, the "Cruel Intentions" star apologized to the people hurt by what happened. She was clear that harm was never her goal.
"Not one day ever have I intended to hurt or frighten anyone a day in my life," she said.
She went on to speak directly to those affected. "To the people that I disappointed, that I hurt, that I frightened, alarmed, I am so sorry," she said.
Why she stayed quiet
Blair explained her long silence since the October 11 incident. Her legal team has told her not to get into the details while the case moves through court.
She also thanked fans for the flood of kind messages. She said that support has meant the world to her. It has also lifted up her son Arthur Saint Bleick plus her service dog Scout.
To wrap up, Blair said getting well and caring for Arthur come first right now. She sent love to everyone who has reached out.
The case so far
According to reports, Blair was arrested after she allegedly punched and bit flight attendants on a Delta flight headed to JFK Airport. Prosecutors say she then kicked a cop plus a nurse who was treating her.
She is charged with a pair of second-degree felony assault counts over those two encounters. She has pleaded not guilty. Her next court date is January 19, 2027.
Her rep has said a medical emergency led to the alleged behavior.
