RJ Mitte's last movie Cassi is done and its producer says the actor missed the finished cut
Producer Josh Webber says RJ Mitte watched an early rough cut of Cassi but died before the film was completed. It is set for release early next year.
The last movie RJ Mitte made is complete. The "Breaking Bad" actor died before he could see the finished version.

Producer Josh Webber says Mitte saw a rough cut of the film, called "Cassi," at an earlier stage. Webber says it is heartbreaking that Mitte never got to see the completed movie.
A long road
According to Webber, Mitte finished shooting in 2023. A string of obstacles then slowed the work needed to wrap up the film.
Webber says Mitte stayed a steady supporter of the project through every setback and backed the team and its departments along the way.
A breakout role
The producer describes "Cassi" as a breakout part for Mitte and says he "crushes" his performance alongside Dove Cameron.
Webber says it is painful to know Mitte will not be there with the cast and crew for the release and will miss the recognition he earned.
The film is scheduled to come out early next year.
