Matt Jones wishes he had kept his plans with RJ Mitte to hit a club
Breaking Bad's Matt Jones says he last saw RJ Mitte joking in a group photo in January 2025 and later skipped a night out they had planned.

Matt Jones is mourning his Breaking Bad castmate RJ Mitte and sharing a regret about the last time they almost spent an evening together.
Their last meeting
Jones, who played Brandon "Badger" Mayhew, posted on Instagram late Monday. He said the last time he crossed paths with Mitte was in January 2025. They stood at the back of a group shot trading jokes and updating each other on life.
Mitte had big plans ahead and wanted Jones to visit his new place in Texas. They also set a date to visit a club owned by castmate Steven Michael Quezada. Jones says he canceled once he felt worn out. Looking back he wishes he had kept the plan.
His goodbye
"I'm so sorry," Jones wrote. He said he first met Mitte 19 years ago when Mitte was only 15. He closed by saying he is beyond devastated and that Mitte was a little brother to all of them.
Mitte was 34 when he died by suicide on Monday. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have also paid tribute to their late costar.
