Ravens rule out Lamar Jackson against the Bengals as Tyler Huntley gets another start
Lamar Jackson will miss a third straight game with a high left ankle injury, leaving Tyler Huntley to start Sunday's AFC North game against Cincinnati.

The Baltimore Ravens will play Sunday's AFC North game against the Cincinnati Bengals without Lamar Jackson. The team ruled out the two-time MVP on Saturday because of a high left ankle injury.
Jackson had been listed as questionable after being limited in practice all week. He will now miss his third straight game. Tyler "Snoop" Huntley will start again.
The stakes are high for Baltimore. The Ravens are 4-2 but lost at Cleveland last Sunday. A loss to the 3-2 Bengals would leave them 0-2 in the division for the first time in 19 years.
Not ready to plant and run
Jackson was hurt on the final offensive play before halftime in an Oct. 4 win over the Tennessee Titans. His left ankle bent awkwardly when a Titans defender landed on it.
He limped to the podium after Friday's practice and admitted it still hurts when he tries to run and plant. He said the decision would come down to pain.
"If I can just go out there and just be a statue and get hit, that's not helping my team at all," Jackson said.
He also said he regretted rushing back from a hamstring injury last season because he never felt fully healthy after that.
The offense without him
Huntley is 6-8 as a fill-in starter for Baltimore. He led the Ravens to a 30-23 overtime win at Atlanta on Oct. 12 but the offense stalled in a 13-10 loss at Cleveland.
The gap has been clear. Baltimore scored 116 points and 14 offensive touchdowns in 14 quarters with Jackson this season. It has 40 points and four touchdowns in 10 quarters with Huntley.
History is not on Baltimore's side either. Since 2019 the Ravens are 0-3 against the Bengals, playoffs included, when Jackson does not start.
