Rams sign veteran kicker Brandon McManus after Blake Grupe's torn ACL
The Rams are bringing in the longtime Broncos and Packers kicker after Blake Grupe tore his ACL in his Rams debut. McManus is their third kicker in three weeks.

The Los Angeles Rams are turning to a veteran to fix their kicking problem. The team is signing free agent Brandon McManus, according to reports Tuesday.
McManus and fellow veteran Matt Prater both worked out for the Rams on Tuesday. The tryouts came after Blake Grupe tore his ACL in the Week 6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
That loss was Grupe's first game in Los Angeles. The Rams had signed him to replace Harrison Mevis, who missed a 50-yard try and then had a 48-yarder blocked in overtime of the Week 5 loss. McManus will be the team's third kicker in three weeks.
McManus last kicked for the Green Bay Packers. He made 44 of 51 field goals over two seasons there, with six of the misses coming in 2025.
He spent his first nine NFL seasons with the Denver Broncos, then played one season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
He was not on a roster at the start of the 2024 season while the league looked into a possible personal conduct policy violation. In September 2024 the NFL said he had not violated the policy. He signed with Green Bay three weeks later.
