Rams lose Davante Adams for 6 to 10 weeks with a ruptured hamstring as injuries pile up
Adams needs a procedure on his hamstring. Poona Ford is out for the season, Kobie Turner will miss weeks and kicker Blake Grupe tore his ACL.

The Los Angeles Rams just took a brutal hit.
Wide receiver Davante Adams will miss 6 to 10 weeks with a ruptured hamstring, coach Sean McVay said Monday. He was not the only one. McVay ran through a long list of injuries one day after an 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Adams needs a procedure
McVay called the injury a ruptured semitendinosus. It appeared to happen late in the fourth quarter Sunday as Adams ran a route into the end zone.
Adams will have a procedure to repair the hamstring. He hopes to return near the short end of the timeline. The goal is to be back close to the Rams' bye after Week 11.
The six-time Pro Bowl pick has 30 catches for 480 yards and four touchdowns in six games this season.
The list keeps growing
Nose tackle Poona Ford is done for the season with a ruptured triceps. Defensive tackle Kobie Turner will miss "a handful of weeks" with a groin injury. McVay said the team will likely put Turner on injured reserve. That would keep him out for at least four games.
Kicker Blake Grupe tore his ACL. The Rams placed him on injured reserve Monday. They have not signed a replacement yet. McVay said the team is "working on some different options."
Pass rusher Myles Garrett will not return to practice this week. He had knee surgery in mid-September and has missed the last five games.
There was some better news on cornerback Trent McDuffie. He sat out Sunday with a groin injury but McVay said he is "progressing." "He's feeling much better," McVay said. "The hope is progress this week and kind of determine his status at the end of this week."
What's next at receiver
McVay said the Rams will discuss adding a receiver. Puka Nacua leads a group that also includes Konata Mumpfield, Jordan Whittington, Tutu Atwell, CJ Daniels and Alex Bachman.
The Rams began the season as 5-1 favorites to win the Super Bowl. After Sunday's loss dropped them to 2-4 their odds slid to 12-1.
