Paris Hilton's camp says Kim Kardashian is not upset over 17 canceled book interviews
Kim Kardashian's biographer says Paris Hilton canceled on him 17 times, but a source close to Paris insists Kim is not mad and the two are still close.

Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian are at the center of a book drama, but Paris' side says there is no feud.
The author's account
Jonathan Van Meter, who wrote the authorized Kim biography "Citizen Kim," says he tried for months to get Paris on the record.
According to reports, he said other famous friends were lined up with a simple text from Kim. With Paris, he had to work through her team instead.
He said he sent his questions and was put in touch with her assistant. After that, the sit-down was called off 17 times across roughly four months.
Van Meter said the string of cancellations ended up being "more interesting" to him than anything Paris might have shared.
Was Kim mad?
The writer claimed Kim was "so mad" once she heard about it. He said the episode "seemed to stir up some ancient irritation" between the two, calling it "the creation turning on the creator."
Paris' side of the story
Someone close to Paris tells a very different story. This source says a former assistant at her company was in charge of setting up the interview. The request then got buried under her "hectic schedule."
The insider said Paris "has a lot of projects happening at once and is constantly traveling," which can make interviews tough to schedule.
The source also said Kim is "absolutely not mad." The two women are even working on each other's upcoming projects.
In the end, only Kim knows how she really feels about it.
