NFL clears Josh Jacobs and Jonathon Cooper to return in Week 7 as conduct reviews stay open
The Packers running back and the Broncos pass rusher come off the Commissioner Exempt List after six games while the league's conduct reviews remain open.

Two NFL players who have missed six games are getting ready to return.
The NFL said Friday that Packers running back Josh Jacobs comes off the Commissioner Exempt List on Oct. 19 and can play in Green Bay's Week 7 game at Detroit on Oct. 25. Broncos pass rusher Jonathon Cooper was removed from the list Friday and is eligible for Denver's Week 7 game against Arizona.
Reviews still open
Both players were placed on the list Aug. 30. The league's reviews under the Personal Conduct Policy remain open.
The legal cases
Jacobs was arrested in Wisconsin in May and pleaded no contest on Sept. 10 to misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property. His attorneys said he accepts responsibility for his actions.
Cooper was arrested in Colorado in June. His trial date was moved to March. He said in a statement that he will keep working to better himself.
What it means for both teams
Green Bay is 3-2 with the league's 32nd-ranked rushing offense. Denver is 4-2 after beating Seattle on Thursday.
