Michael Douglas tells Joe Rogan that Danny DeVito ate their joints during a traffic stop
Michael Douglas laughed on Joe Rogan's podcast about a police stop that ended with his old pal Danny DeVito swallowing the joints they had in the car.

Michael Douglas has a new favorite story about his longtime friend Danny DeVito. It involves flashing lights, a bad left turn and a snack nobody would order.
Lights in the mirror
Sitting down with Joe Rogan for his podcast, the "Fatal Attraction" actor remembered driving to an event with DeVito years ago. The two had some marijuana with them when a police car pulled up behind them.
Douglas says he stepped out to handle the officers himself. He owned up to an illegal left turn and tried to keep the conversation friendly while his buddy waited in the passenger seat with the stash.
A creative hiding spot
When Douglas climbed back into the car he learned DeVito had taken matters into his own hands. Rather than risk the cops finding the joints, DeVito had swallowed them.
Douglas could not stop laughing as he described how the night played out. It sounds like DeVito got a much stronger dinner than he planned.
Old friends
The two actors have been close for decades and still trade stories about their wild early days together.
