Brittany Curran is in trouble with police again.

The actress, known for roles on "The Magicians" plus "Chicago Fire," was taken into custody on a public intoxication charge, according to reports.

The late-night call

Burbank police were dispatched a little ahead of 2 AM on October 19 after a caller said a stranger was knocking on a resident's door.

When police got there they reportedly found Curran with "objective signs of alcohol intoxication."

Asked to go home

Curran lived close by. Officers are said to have urged her more than once to head back to her place.

She would not leave. In the end she was placed under arrest.

Out within hours

Curran was booked into a local jail. A few hours later she was given a citation and let go.

Not the first time

This marks her second arrest of the kind in 2026. Back in February she was also picked up for public intoxication. Police said at the time that she turned up at the station so drunk she could not recall how she had gotten there.

Curran has not commented on the latest arrest.
