Matt's junk route started as extra work beside a grocery job that paid about $15 an hour. He is open on Upflip about a hard stretch before that paycheck, including getting clean and wanting something beyond the next bill.

The truck was beat up. The marketing, he says, was realtors, Facebook groups and a YouTube channel. He met his wife JoJo at the store after he burned her sandwich. They built the route together.

He describes 15-hour days split between the store and the hauls. The business he cites now is about $50,000 a month. The episode spends as much time on the early no's as on the month that looks finished.

Trust before a logo

He walks through how a local hauler gets the next job: show up, answer the group post, let people see the work. There is no campaign in the story.

The monthly figure is his. The start was a pickup and a grocery shift he was trying to outgrow.
