Lil Durk lands in solitary at a Los Angeles federal jail after he questioned repeated searches of his cell
Lil Durk was moved to the special housing unit at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles after he asked a deputy warden about constant cell searches.

Lil Durk is now being held in solitary confinement at the federal jail in Los Angeles where he has been locked up.
Jose Rojas, who serves as a union secretary for Bureau of Prisons workers, says the rapper was moved into the special housing unit at the Metropolitan Detention Center on Friday.
People with direct knowledge of the situation say guards have been searching his cell again and again. According to them, staff have not turned up any contraband since a jury acquitted him in his murder-for-hire case.
Why he was moved
Those same sources say Durk went to the deputy warden with questions about why he kept getting searched. He was allegedly written up for "talking back" and then sent to the unit.
The Bureau of Prisons is not saying much. A spokesperson said the agency does not talk about "the conditions of confinement for any individual in our custody" and that the policy covers housing assignments along with possible disciplinary issues or internal security steps.
Where his cases stand
A jury found Durk not guilty in the murder-for-hire trial in September. He still has felony racketeering and firearms charges hanging over him.
His second trial was first set to start last month. It has since been moved to next August.
