Sean "Diddy" Combs' projected prison release date moves back about six weeks
Federal Bureau of Prisons records now list March 2, 2028, after reports he had improper perks behind bars.

Sean "Diddy" Combs will apparently be behind bars a little longer.
Federal Bureau of Prisons records now list March 2, 2028, as his projected release date. He had previously been scheduled for release on Jan. 21, 2028, meaning the date has moved back about six weeks. People magazine first reported the change.
Reports of special treatment
The change follows an NBC News report claiming Combs had access to a contraband cellphone and alcohol at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey and was paying other inmates to give him massages, cook meals and do chores. He was reportedly moved back to solitary confinement after that report. The Bureau of Prisons has not publicly explained the new date.
His sentence
Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges. His release date has shifted several times, but it remains earlier than the June 2028 date originally projected.
